1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Bewort sp. z o.o. uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, on stepli.io and app.stepli.io.
2. Strictly Necessary Technologies
Some technologies are strictly necessary to provide the website and the Service you request and to protect them. They do not require consent. They are used to:
- keep you signed in to the Stepli app and maintain your session (browser local storage);
- give your signed-in browser access to files stored in your account, such as email contents (a secure cookie on the stepli.io domain);
- remember choices made in the app, such as a selected plan or a dismissed message (browser local storage);
- remember your cookie choice (the
stepli_consentcookie on the stepli.io domain, kept for 12 months); - protect our contact form against automated abuse. The form uses an anti-bot check from a security provider, which may process technical information about your browser to decide whether a submission is legitimate.
3. Analytics
With your consent, our website uses Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use the website: which pages they view, how they arrived, and which buttons lead them to sign up. We use this information only in aggregate, to improve the website and our marketing.
Google Analytics is loaded only if you accept analytics cookies, by clicking "Accept all" in our cookie banner or by turning on "Analytics" in its settings. If you click "Reject" or make no choice, it is not loaded. It sets these cookies on the stepli.io domain:
_ga: distinguishes visitors, expires after 13 months;_ga_<ID>: keeps the state of a visit, expires after 13 months.
With the same consent, we set our own stepli_ft cookie on the stepli.io domain. It records how you first arrived: the campaign parameters in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_id), the website that referred you and the date. It expires after 30 days. If you create a Stepli account within that time, these details are saved with your account, so we know which channels bring customers. Without your consent they are not recorded, and your account shows its source as unknown.
Google may process this data outside the EEA, under the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
4. Marketing
With your consent, our website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag, provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, to measure our advertising on LinkedIn: how many people visit the website and sign up after seeing or clicking our ads. LinkedIn may also let us show our ads on LinkedIn to people who visited the website. LinkedIn reports results to us only in aggregate, and we do not receive information that identifies you.
The Insight Tag is loaded only if you accept marketing cookies, by clicking "Accept all" in our cookie banner or by turning on "Marketing" in its settings. If you click "Reject" or make no choice, it is not loaded. It may set:
li_fat_idon the stepli.io domain: records a click on our ad, expires after 30 days;- cookies on the linkedin.com domain, such as
bcookie,lidcandUserMatchHistory, which LinkedIn uses to recognise its members and match website visits to its ads, as described in LinkedIn's own Cookie Policy.
For collecting and transmitting this data from our website, we and LinkedIn are joint controllers under LinkedIn's terms for advertisers. LinkedIn is responsible for its further processing, described in its Privacy Policy, and may process the data outside the EEA under the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. LinkedIn keeps Insight Tag data for up to 180 days.
5. Changing Your Choice
You can change or withdraw your consent for each category at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the website. When you withdraw it, the related tool stops and its cookies on the stepli.io domain are deleted. Cookies on the linkedin.com domain can be removed in your browser or controlled in your LinkedIn settings. We ask again after 12 months.
6. Payments
Checkout and the billing portal are hosted by our payment provider on its own domain, which uses its own cookies under its own policies.
7. Browser Controls
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies will prevent you from signing in to the Stepli app.
